Tempers flare in Florida, pressure mounts in Vancouver

Another full weekend of NHL action has provided plenty of storylines. The past weekend gave us another fierce rivalry battle, and one head coach is already having to answer questions about a frustrated fan base. Goal of the weekend: Valeri Nichuskin dances through Vegas' defense While spending his weekend in Las Vegas, Colorado Avalanche forward Valeri Nichuskin did some dancing on Saturday night, as one does. The only difference was that Nichuskin did his dancing on ice and around Golden Knights defenseman Brayden McNabb. Nichuskin made an effortless move around McNabb after he attacked the Avs' forward too aggressively. Premier League manager sacked: third boss to be fired in 2022/23 with Brendan Rodgers in hot water

A 9-0 hammering at Liverpool, allied with a post-match interview in which a clearly unhappy Parker appeared to take aim at the club's transfer policy, were followed three days later by the Cherries announcing his shock departure after a mere four league matches. Thomas Tuchel was the next to go in early September with Chelsea firing the man that won them a UEFA Champions League title just 15 months ago.  A 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb in Europe saw the Blues pull the trigger on Tuchel's time at the club.  Leicester's Brendan Rodgers is the current betting favorite to depart his club next, with the Foxes still seeking a first win after losing five of their six opening games.   CFL.CA STAFF | Sports Ticket Depot WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday in the Labour Day Weekend rematch at IG Field. Winnipeg quarterback Zach Collaros led the way for his team in the 54-20 win, throwing four touchdowns, 273 yards, and no interceptions. Receiver Nic Demski scored two major scores for the Bombers while pass-catchers Rasheed Bailey, Dalton Schoen, and Brendan O’Leary-Orange each found the end zone once. Quarterback Dakota Prukop also got in on the scoring, adding two short-yardage touchdowns and backup Dru Brown also had a passing touchdown. Marc Liegghio was good on both of his field goal attempts. Riders quarterback Cody Fajardo scored a touchdown on the ground while also completing 15 of 18 passes for 124 yards through the air in the losing effort.
